And so, God saves not because of our struggles, but solely by His mercy. The Lord desires that the soul be humble, free of malice, and forgiving toward all; then the Lord Himself will also forgive with joy. The Lord loves everyone, and we should imitate Him and love all; and if we are weak, let us pray to the Lord, and He will not turn us away but will help us by His grace.
