When you rise for prayer, imagine that Christ has come to the earth.

"When you rise for prayer, imagine that Christ has come to the earth. The judgment is over. And the Lord is already departing with those He has chosen... But you have been left behind! Imagine yourself crying out after Him! So pray—pray unceasingly." Experience has taught me this: God's will shall be done; it is from God, and so you find peace. But if you question, "Why this and not that?" you lack humility. "A person should not despair or lose heart because of some failure, for they do not know what God’s will is. When you recognize God’s will, you endure it, because God’s will is not always sweet—it is often bitter! We must only pray that God grants us the grace to fulfill His holy will in our lives, always."
